2024年8月30日，加拿大萨省政府，宣布了萨省移民提名计划（SINP）下的两条新的人才途径，以增加农业和医疗领域的劳动力。同时关停了Hard-to-Fill Skills Pilot紧缺技能试点等多个萨省移民项目。
一. 新增移民项目：
- 农业人才通道（Agriculture Talent Pathway）
- 医疗人才通道（Health Talent Pathway）
农业是萨省的经济支柱，新的农业人才途径将使生产者能够获得他们所需的人才，以继续增加出口价值、增加农业附加值以及利用新技术和创新。这条途径将有助于满足日益增长的劳动力需求，以填补农业行业的需求和新兴就业岗位。
新的卫生保健人才途径将支持萨省政府的卫生人力资源 (HHR) 行动计划，因为 SINP 是卫生保健部门招聘和留住技术工人的重要资源。通过 SINP 进行的所有医疗保健招聘都将在这一途径下进行整合和简化。
1. 农业人才通道要求：
- 语言: CLB4以上（雅思听4.5, 说4，读3.5，写4.0）；
- 高中毕业以上文凭；
- 工作经验：过去3年内1年全职本职位经验；或提供雇主信（JAL）的雇主处6个月以上的萨省工作经验；
- 工作offer：永久全职(需要工作批准函Job Approval Letter)；
- 萨省居住意愿。

大学大专以上跟工作相关的文凭（本科、硕士学位，3年大学大专学位、2年大学大专技术学校diploma)；
工作经验：过去5年内1年全职相关经验，或提供雇主信（JAL）的雇主处6个月以上的萨省工作经验；
工作offer：永久全职(需要工作批准函Job Approval Letter)；
职业如果要求有萨省执照licence，则必须有资格获得；
萨省居住意愿。

二. 关停项目：
1. 2024年8月30日萨省政府永久关闭了Hard-to-Fill Skills Pilot紧缺技能试点移民项目。
2. 同一天还宣布关闭了萨省经验类移民中的子项目：
– 卫生专业人员（Health Professionals）
– 酒店业项目（Hospitality Sector）
– 长途卡车司机（Long-Haul Truck Drivers）
– 已经持有工签的半熟练农业工人（Semi-skilled Agriculture worker with existing work permit）
获得一张萨省工作批准函JAL就可以移民加拿大的时期结束了，今年开始部分岗位需要正在加拿大工作的申请人才可以申请JAL，到现在Hard-to-fill类别永久关闭，萨省省提名逐渐趋于严格。
